On September 28th 2003, Joan was in Rotterdam, where she placed her hands in cement for the ever growing Walk of Fame Europe attraction. Based on the legendary hand print attraction at Gauman's Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd, this version was also endorsed by the late Johnny Grant, Mayor of Hollywood and chairman of The Hollywood Walk of Fame. Joan placed her handprints at the Grand Hotel, Huis ter Duin, Noordwijk. This attraction opened in 1990, attended by Grant and other celebrities. Among the other stars who left their mark are, Shirley Bassey, Dionne Warwick, Nancy Sinatra, Barry Manilow, Cliff Richard, Lionel Richie, Nana Mouskouri, Grace Jones, Tina Turner and Tom Jones among many others.
