TV FLASHBACK : THE VIRGINIAN .. UNIVERSAL TELEVISION .. 1967 ..
As the passing was announced of the Western Legend James Drury who starred in the classic tv series 'The Virginian', I thought it timely to feature two wonderful stills of Joan from the episode 'The Woman From Wichita' in which Joan plays Lorna Marshall, a saloon owner. In this episode also guesting Rose Marie, Lorna is named in the will of a rancher who leaves her his property in Medicine Bow. When she moves there to claim the ranch, the locals are not impressed!
