Much excitement around as Joan is now confirmed to appear in season 8 of the highly popular Fox show 'American Horror Story'.. Set to begin filming in June, the show also sees the return of series regulars Kathy Bates, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson.. Series producer Ryan Murphy commented on the new season on an For Your Consideration event panel..." “It’s heightened. It’s not necessarily as real and grounded as the past season. We’re sort of getting back to Asylum, and Coven. That’s the tone of it. We start shooting Season 8 around June 16."
"We were at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, and we turned around, and I was like, 'Oh my god, there's Joan Collins'," she said. He grabbed me by the hand and off we went. The deal was made on that floor. It's amazing."
