It was very sad news earlier, when it was announced that the most lovely Carrie Fisher had died in Los Angeles after suffering a heart attack whilst on a flight back to LA from London.. This photo features Joan at a Hollywood event back in 2001 with Carrie, who wrote the screenplay for the popular tv movie 'These Old Broads' which Joan starred, along with Shirley Maclaine, Elizabeth Taylor and Carrie's mother, Debbie Reynolds..
