Joan was the special guest speaker at The Wellbeing of Women Champagne Literary Lunch, held earlier at Fortnum & Mason, in their Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon. The £150 a head event started with a champagne reception followed by a sumptuous lunch after which Joan was interviewed by friend Eve Pollard about her new novel 'The St Tropez Lonely Hearts Club' and her glittering career.. After the conversation, Joan signed copies of her exciting new novel, which will be out in paperback on May 5th in time for the summer vacations..
