Tara Newley has handpainted a one off silk scarf to raise funds for Save The Children in association with Mary Portas Living & Giving Shop, along with The Mayfair Hotel artist in residence Marc McGreevy and designer Julien McDonald. See press release below for details..
A collection of one-off silk scarves hand-painted by some of UK's hottest
designers and artists will be auctioned by Mary Portas' Living & Giving Shop to help raise funds for Save the Children. The exclusive designs from the likes of Julien McDonald and May Fair Hotel Artist in Residence Marc McGreevy are based on visualisations of their childhood memories. All nine Handpicked scarves will be available to the highest bidder when the auction closes. The auction will go live on eBay, Thursday 13 Feb 2014 until Sunday 23 Feb 2014. There will be several covetable designer pieces up for grabs as a 'Buy It Now' option as well, so keep checking back for more information!
