REVISITED .....
The story so far..........
Sable is ready to embark on her book tour with her scandalous book on the Colby's...Krystle meets a mysterious man and is seen out and about with him by Fallon..
The holiday season had surely came and went, as it always did, each and every year. Many weeks of preparations followed by a quick bursting of the festive bubble. Fallon Colby had enjoyed Christmas with her family, but she could not get Krystle's rendezvous with a handsome stranger out of her mind. She decided to keep her secret to herself, she had no proof of any wrong doing on her stepmothers part, so what was the use in ruining the festivities for her father. She was quite surprised at Krystle, she could not fathom how Krystle met such a man, she was sure a dark horse. Fallon had pondered the situation in her mind for two weeks, she was certainly intrigued and was determined, in time, to get to the bottom of the situation. Fallon decided she would keep an eye on Krystle, see if she had planned anymore meetings. Blake had taken Krystle away for a week to California, so at least there was little chance of her meeting her admirer. Fallon would bide her time and find out what Krystle was up to. But she had another problem that bothered her in the form of her former admirer, Miles Colby. Even though they had not spoken since she left the beach house, she did receive a large Christmas card along with an enormous basket of flowers. The card professed his undying love for her, thankfully he still believed she had no knowledge of their former lives together. Fallon stood looking out the window of her bedroom, staring at the well manicured lawns of the Carrington estate. She recalled the happy hours she had spent there in her childhood years. If only life could be that simple again, but she knew things were never that easy. Fallon was a survivor, she knew she could face any problem that life dealt her, she had alway managed to do so before.
Alexis sat reading the newspaper, whilst drinking a cup of coffee, she looked forward to the reopening of her hotel, it was only a few weeks more to her glittering opening night party. The grand gala invitations had already gone out to the glitterati of Denver and beyond as far as Beverly Hills, New York and London. She planned to move into her newly refurbished suite, a week before the opening, to oversee every little detail. The only event she did not look forward too was the Jeremy Van Dorn trial which unfortunately was set for the very same week of her party! Talk about a clash of events, which they usually did! Alexis pondered over all her plans, when she was disturbed by a visitor in the form of her son Adam.
"Darling! Lovely to see you."
Alexis got up from her seat at her writing bureau, to give her son a hug.
"Mother! Can I turn on the TV? There is something you might be interested in! Sable Colby is guesting on 'The Rona Allan Show'!
Adam clicked on the set and sat down beside his mother to watch.
" Welcome Back! Today my guest is socialite, now best selling authoress Sable Colby..Whose book 'In Colby Company', is now in book stores everywhere! Sable! You portray the Colby family as ruthless, backbiting individuals. What was it like to be a party of a such a family? It must have been difficult for you, having to raise three children!"
Sable pursed her scarlet lips and sighed.
"I love my children Rona. It was my children who kept me sane during my marriage to Jason Colby."
Rona leaned over and patted Sable's hand, a look of sympathy on her face.
"You in fact have four children. You had a son after your marriage to Jason Colby ended. You must have been devastated when the child was recently kidnapped?"
Sable paused and stared ahead, she took a sip from the glass of water in front of her on the glass coffee table on set.
" I felt like a part of me had been ripped from my body. I could not begin to describe the anguish I felt, not knowing if I would ever see my son again. But I am a survivor Rona..I never gave up hope.."
Rona encouraged the studio audience to applaud Sables bravery..
"Well we are all thrilled that everything turned out well.. In your book you paint a picture of Alexis Colby as a cold, heartless bitch.. if I may quote from your book! If I understand the facts, was it not Alexis Colby who secured the release of your son, by acting as ransom as where. Were you not grateful for Mrs Colby for the safe return of the boy?"
Sable flicked her hair back from her shoulders, pouted as only she could and faced the audience.
" Rona, I am grateful to Alexis Colby for my sons release.. But as far as the book is concerned, I had an obligation to tell the truth and the facts regarding Cecil Colby's death are well documented. I had to include Alexis in the framework, even if it does portray her in the image of a black widow!"
Alexis sat in a fury, she had not planned to read Sables trash faction but she had a feeling she had better peruse the bitches expose.
"That ungrateful sow! But what more could I expect from that unspeakable slut. I will never forgive her for having Dex's baby and she knows it."
Adam took his mother by the hand.
"Mother! You know that woman will never change.. Its the nature of the bitch..She will never change.. She is jealous of you and she always will be."
Alexis had to agree, why should she be surprised at her cousins actions.
"Thank you Sable Colby! The book is called 'In Colby Company'. Thank you for joining me today.. Be sure to tune in tomorrow.. My special guest is the legendary Joan Collins, who will be telling us about her new book 'The World According To Joan'..An unmissable hour!"
Adam turned off the tv set...
"Mother I watched that dvd with Sammy Jo! Very steamy stuff! "
Alexis had to agree, although she only managed to watch a few minutes of the action!
"Yes! darling quite the unfit mother, wouldn't you say?"
Alexis sat back and smiled to herself...
Amanda Carrington sat in Connie Rich's hotel suite..she was sure glad to be back in Denver, to see her family again. She only wished she could tell her mother the truth about herself, but now was not the time.
"Amanda! We have to keep this a secret for the moment..Not even your family..It is for the best.."
Connie was very fond of Amanda, she felt like a second mother to her, she would ensure no harm would ever come to her.
"I know it is for the best.. Do you think he will find us?"
Amanda pulled up her skirt to examine the bruises on her thighs.
"I hope not Mandy. But I do know Max, he wont give up until he does find us. We have to be vigilant."
Amanda agreed and managed a smile, even it had no mirth..
"Let's pop down to the bar.. Get away from this room for an hour.. I could do with a stiff Martini!"
Krystle sat at a table in the corner of 'The Charleston Room' at 'The Lichfield Tower Hotel', Dylan Worth sat next to her. She had been unsure of meeting him, his text was exciting to her, she could not resist. She had enjoyed her break with Blake in Beverly Hills, she always enjoyed staying at 'The Beverly Wilshire'.. She loved Blake, she always would, but she could not help herself in meeting up with her rugged rider. Dylan sipped his beer, he was in awe of the beautiful Krystle, a true lady, the likes of whom he had never met before.
"Krystle! Your beauty astounds me.. I can only imagine what it would be like to kiss your lips, to hold you in my arms."
Dylan usually found it difficult in showing his feelings, but somehow Krystle made him forget any inhibitions, he could certainly express himself with her.
"Dylan.. I am flattered that you find me attractive.. But I can only be a friend..Nothing more.. I will admit I do think you are a very handsome guy.."
Dylan looked into her eyes, it was now or never, he moved in quickly on her and planted a lingering kiss on her lips.
At that moment two attractive women entered the room, one of which was Amanda Carrington. While Connie went to the bar to order a couple of Martini's, Amanda went to find a table.. She did a double take when she noticed a very familar face, sitting away in a corner. Amanda was surprised to see Krystle sitting with a man that was not her father.. Amanda stood and stared..
