This photo from 1990 was used to promote an appearance on the premiere show of a BBC 1 daytime programme, "Scene Today" launched in October 1990. Joan is seen here in costume as Amanda in the West End production of "Private Lives", with presenters Alan Titchmarsh and Judi Spiers.
