This rare photo from May 1976 features Joan with her guests George Segal and the legendary Dionne Warwick, who I seen on Friday evening here in Dublin.. Joan held this party at her Chalette Drive home in Hollywood to celebrate the 21st birthday of Edgar Bronfman Jr, whose father was the Seagram Whiskey heir and whom Joan's then husband Ron Kass worked for, as he ran Sagittarius films.. Bronfman persuaded Kass to hold the party, so he could meet Hollywood's elite, the party was a great success, ungraciously Bronfman sacked Kass a few days later and Joan was devastated and Ron Kass began a spiral of disfunction. Will feature another photo from the party in a future post.. Also shown is Dionne in Dublin friday evening at the City West hotel. Great to see her again and look forward to seeing her in London in January..
