DOROTHY MALONE
An influential banker informs the police that he is being blackmailed by a high class Madame, who has been keeping a book of all her clients...The Trick Book... But when Hilary is found murdered in her bath and the book goes missing, there are many hands who want to find the book and will resort to even more murder! Never slip between the covers with The Trick Book!

This was Joan's second episode of the series and she plays Lorelei Frank, a cold hearted, alcoholic hooker with a penchant for s&m! Joan has some great scenes with Angie near the end of the story, when Pepper calls Lorelei a "lush hooker", while Lorelei annoys her by pulling on the zipper of her jumpsuit..they both end up in a struggle and end up flying through a glass door!  Joan is excellent as Lorelei and ends the episode by been carted off screaming for booze! Another great episode of a classic show....
ANGIE & EARL make a quick getaway!

  1. In one of Joan's books she mentions that, at one time, there was mention of her becoming a regular character on the show.
She and Angie are friends and Angie is one of the friends interviewed by Joan in her book "My Friends Secrets"

  2. Hello!
It would have been great if she had become a regular.. although she had played two totally different characters in the episodes she had done.. After 1976 she had a few movie roles and then of course "The Stud" came along so she probably did not need the guest shot as much.. Yes! Joan and Angie have been friends for years.. two true legends! Thanks for comment.. mark x
