Joey recorded his show that day at The Paramount Theatre, where the premiere was taking place. This was a benefit screening for The Hollywood & Television Relief Fund... Joey interviewed Joan and Anthony along with co-star Rex Harrison and Samantha Eggar..Also attending were Sonny & Cher.. Natalie Wood ... Jackie Mason ... Gregory Peck .. Henry Fonda .. Tony Curtis.. Steve McQueen and Carol Channing...

"The Joey Bishop Show", ran from 1967 to 1969, this 90 minute show ran for five nights a week on ABC.. The show featured Regis Philbin as a regular, until he sensationally walked off the show. This show was scheduled against Johnny Carson's" Tonight Show" and "The Merv Griffin Show" and found it hard to get good ratings..
