HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETTE!

Today in 1908 the Legendary Bette Davis was born in Lowell Massachusetts. Nominated for 11 Oscars and winning two, in 1936 "Dangerous" and 1939 "Jezebel". Her most memorable roles have been "All About Eve" and of course the cult classic "Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?". Bette was one of the biggest and best  stars ever to grace the silver screen and she will forever be a Legend.
Bette appeared in the film "The Virgin Queen" with Joan in 1955. Appearing on screen up until her death in 1989, Bette's last film was the campy "Wicked Stepmother", which was unfinished when she became ill and left the production, but was completed when they added Barbara Carrera as a younger witch. This film was also the last screen role for another classic star Evelyn Keyes who died in 2008. Bette died in 1989  with breast cancer. She left many classic quotes. One of my favorite's is
" If you want a thing well done, get a couple of old broads to do it!"
A one of a kind. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETTE!
