Delighted to report that "Dynasty Season 6"  has just been released in France, while a UK release is set for January 24th.. I am glad that these releases are the full season, unlike the USA release which ave been split into two seperate releases...

Last night Joan attended the opening of Michael Feinstein's Holiday season show " SWING..IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON." at Feinstein's at the Regency which runs until December 30th.. EVENT PREVIEW : HUGH'S DESIGN'S ON JOAN!

Here is a first look at one of Joan's costumes for the upcoming production of "Dick Whittington" at The Birmingham Hippodrome.. Joan will wear three costumes in this spectacular show and they are designed by Emmy Award winning designer Hugh Durrant, who is putting the finishing touches to Joan's glamorous gowns. Mandy Rose from The Birmingham Hippodrome met up with Hugh in London at the weekend and she got a preview and a few words from Hugh, who is delighted to be working with Joan again. He previously designed costumes for her tour of "Full Circle"

"  Even though I like to create costumes that introduce fantasy and magic to the audience, costumes have to be made to last and they are very expensive. They also have to endure wear and tear and sweaty actors and they have to be maintained. I know there will be a great reaction when Joan makes her entrance! I like to fit the design with the actor and the character and what they like to wear. When I designed Cher's costumes for her "Farewell Tour", I added lots of beads, which I knew she liked!"
Apart from the glamorous creation shown, Joan will also wear a Black & Green number and for the finale and fabulous White Gown adorned with feathers.. A true touch of Hollywood glamour will adorn the stage of The Birmingham Hippodrome this Christmas.. Thanks to Mandy for sharing and I certainly look forward to the show and seeing the designs in the flesh, as where!

Delighted to announce that Joan has agreed to appear in an upcoming film project with an all star cast of screen legends.. The film currently titled "Unforgettable" will also star Robert Wagner... Debbie Reynolds.. Marisa Berenson.. & Tippi Hedren.. The film will be produced by Karen Cadle and direced by Carlos Mundy and will shoot in Madrid in 2011 for Tantric Productions..Joan has worked with Robert, Debbie and Marisa in the past and look forward to seeing her with Tippi, who I spent some time with earlier this year....Watch this space for updates on an exciting project..

Sad to hear the legendary actor Leslie Nielsen has passed away after a short illness.. Leslie appeared with Joan in the MGM release "The Opposite Sex".. A true gentleman who had a career high in the 80's with the popular "Airplane" which sparked the popular "Spoof of" films.. A verteran of over 200 screen appearances, Leslie will certainly be missed...

In Joan's segment she plays Bella whose husband becomes infatuated with a tree!  In the end guess who gets the chop!  The film also featured Donald Pleasence, Jack Hawkins, Georgia Brown, Suzy Kendall and Kim Novak... TV ALERT : LOOSE WOMEN DECEMBER 3RD ITV...

As Joan's run at Feinstein's comes to an end this Saturday, Joan will be packing again to return to London to ready herself for rehearsals and final costume fittings for her role as Queen Rat in The Birmingham Hippodrome's "Dick Whittington".. As a prelude to this production, Joan is scheduled to appear on the popular daytime chat show "Loose Women" on Friday 3rd December on ITV.. Joan has appeared many times on this lively show and she always looks forward to interacting with the girls.. As an added bonus Joan's longtime friend Cilla Black will also appear on the panel as she is the latest addition to the regular "Loose Women"  lineup...
