Three new dvd releases featuring Joan hits the UK & Ireland markets early 2012.. The eagerly awaited Season 7 release of Dynasty is now available for pre-order from Amazon.co.uk for a January 30th release.. While two of Joan's films get a welcome dvd release this side of the pond.. On March 26th Spirit Entertainment release two titles.. The 1953 classic drama Turn The Key Softly in which Joan co-stars with Yvonne Mitchell and Kathleen Harrison, finally gets a release after been only available on a European label. Also out that day is the 1971 Sci-fi drama 'Quest For Love' in which Joan starred with Tom Bell.. This recently hit the USA market from Scorpion Releasing, but it is wonderful to see it available on Region 2.. All three titles can be preordered by links on side bar.. Apart from 'Dynasty', final cover art will feature when I get it...
This time last year Joan was just beginning her run in her very first panto 'Dick Whittington' at Birmingham's Hippodrome Theatre.. Here she is with co-star Julian Clary backstage... Joan is taking a well earned rest this Christmas with her family.. But maybe next year we might see her back in Pantoland.. The Wicked Queen would be the ideal role for her next production...
