Actress Joan Collins opens the 2013-14 Macomb Town Hall Lecture-Luncheon series Oct. 15 at Andiamo Banquet Center in Warren.
Maybe you spent evenings with the sultry actress, watching her in the role of troublemaker Alexis Carrington on the ABC TV series “Dynasty.”
Now here’s your chance to spend “A Morning With Joan Collins.”
The “Dynasty” actress leads off the 2013-2014 Macomb Town Hall lecture/luncheon series on Oct. 15, at Andiamo Banquet Center, 7096 14 Mile Road in Warren.
The series supports the Gladys McLean Macomb Town Hall Endowed Scholarship at Oakland University benefiting Macomb County students.
Collins, a Golden Globe winner and Emmy nominee, has appeared in more than 60 feature films and dozens of TV series, including “Love Boat,” “The Nanny,” “Will & Grace” and “Roseanne.”
She’s also an author, producer, humanitarian and entrepreneur. In 1997, Queen Elizabeth II honored Collins with an Order of the British Empire title, making her an Officer of the British Empire. Her novels and memoirs have sold more than 50 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 30 languages.
