EVENT.......... CFDA AWARDS ALICE TULLY HALL .. LINCOLN CENTER : JUNE 7TH : NEW YORK.

The 2010 Council Of Fashion Designers Of America Awards were held at The Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center New York a few hours ago, where  Jewelry designer Alexis Bittar won the award for Accessory Designer of the Year. Joan of course fronted a truly glamorous 80's themed campaign earlier this year for Alexis. Joan was due to attend but was not feeling well, so Alexis escorted style doyenne and "Old World Weavers" founder Iris Apfel down the red carpet. Alexis was presented his award by actress Dakota Fanning.

  1. Joan was supposed to attend but got sick and cancelled. Maybe she just wanted to relax and decided to stay in St-Tropez...on the other hand she was also supposed to be at the Caudwell ball last month and missed that event as well.I hope she's fine. Any news Mark?
