It's always fun to look back at cinema adverts from the past, when a trip to the movies was an actual full evening of entertainment. There was many wonderful double bills, which may have been classed as forgettable B movies at the time, but now compared to the crap shown in cinemas, were far superior.. This double bill advert featured Joan's 1968 spy thriller 'Subterfuge' as a support to a thriller from producer Peter Rogers who also produced Joan's thriller 'Revenge'.. 'Assault' like 'Revenge' was a little controversial as it concerned a killer of schoolgirls, ( Revenge featured the parents of a young girl raped and murdered by a pervert, who kidnap the man and torture him! ) . Both films had wonderful casts of familiar British faces..
