In 1985 Joan was asked to promote a line of classic films, although classic not always been the correct term! As one unkind reviewer at the time wrote. "Paramount has found a glossy way to re-release old turkeys!". The turkey's may include "The Last Tycoon" "Once is not Enough" "Lifeguard" while the classics could include "Alfie" "This Property is Condemned" and "The Carpetbaggers". The latter film should have had Joan in it, but she became pregnant and they had to recast the role with Carroll Baker. Viewing the film I cant imagine a pregnant Joan swinging from the chandelier as Carroll did in the film! Joan introduced each film and was mostly more interesting to watch than the actual films! As video is now almost extinct, this collection is now deleted. You may track them on Ebay or Amazon.
