SHOOTING STAR CHASE BOUTIQUE CHARITY GRAND OPENING ...OCTOBER 11TH 2013...

Joan Collins OBE brings glamour to boutique charity shop opening

International superstar Joan Collins OBE brought some glamour to Weybridge on Friday as she officially opened the Shooting Star CHASE’s boutique charity shop
Patron of the charity, Miss Collins cut the ribbon alongside a teenager supported by Shooting Star CHASE at the shop on Queen’s Road.
After opening the shop, she then helped to serve the first few lucky customers.
For the launch of the boutique shop, Miss Collins has donated a number of exclusive items from her own collection.
The items, including designer bags and clothing worn by the actress, offer people the chance to own a piece of history and are available to buy now.
Shooting Star CHASE’s Director of Fundraising, Karen Sugarman, said: “We are absolutely thrilled and overwhelmed that our Patron, Joan Collins, is opening and supporting our fabulous new shop in Weybridge.
"She has been a fantastic supporter of the charity for many years – appearing on Celebrity Deal or No Deal, Celebrity Who wants to be a Millionaire and hosting endless fundraising events – and we are so grateful for the huge difference she makes to our vital cause.”
Shooting Star CHASE has a growing network of shops across western London and Surrey, and run a team of more than 150 dedicated volunteers.
