Just to remind readers with access to BBC radio, that there will be a wonderful tribute show to Leslie Bricusse, who recently celebrated his 80th birthdahy, tonight on BBC radio 2 at 22.00pm.. Presented by Michael Ball, the programme entitled.. 'Pure Imagination - The Leslie Bricusse Story', profiles this Oscar, Grammy and Tony award winning composer/songwriter. A close friend of Joan's since the 60's, the programme features contributions from Joan along with Liza Minnelli.. Robert Wagner .. Sacha Newley .. Michael Caine .. Petula Clarke .. Julie Andrews .. Nancy Sinatra .. George Hamilton .. Michael Feinstein and of course Leslie..  Certainly a programme not to be missed! We need a staged tribute now!
